Biography

Laiken Breau (b.2001) is a T’karonto (Toronto) based interdisciplinary artist and designer. 

Laiken has completed his Bachelor's of Design (Hons) with a minor in Printmaking and publication at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in 2024.

ABOUT HIS PROCESS

Work

Laiken Breau's creative practice consists of fine art  printmaking, digital design, aerosol art, analogue and digital photography and video production. 

Laiken’s work explores themes of the urban built environment, mass media, indigeneity, and anti-colonization. 

Laiken's printmaking pratice utilizes silkscreen, lithography, stencilling and relief techniques. 

Laiken also has a large background in commercial design including posters, logos, packaging, website, video and photo editing, social media assets and marketing materials.
